It’s hard to believe that we are into the last month of the year. There are actually only two school tours left. Rang a 4 are off to Clara Lara on Wednesday and Rang a 3 are in Navan adventure centre on Thursday.
Rang a 2 didn’t get their pictures in last week's newsletter and I’m sure Rang a 3 agus a 4 are hoping that they get similar weather. Parent’s may be hoping they come back cleaner too.
Rang a 5 had a great day on Wednesday in Baltinglass and I was hearing loads of stories about the fun they had yesterday.
Senior Infants had a great time at the zoo yesterday.
So far the weather has been very kind to all of us and hopefully that will continue for this weekend's Sports Day, where we get to come together and hang out and have some fun. It’s great to get one of those top spots but it’s even better if you just enjoy running. My favourite event is the three legged race. I love seeing the children at break time practicing and working together. I’m looking forward to the actual event on Saturday. If three legged races were an olympic sport I think we’d do very well.
A huge thank you to the PA and the organisers who have put so much into making this happen and thank you to all of you who are able to come and support the event.
Hugh thank you also to the parents who are continuing to pop in for creative season. Rang a 3 were very industrious this morning and I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get up there to make my own kit bag. The scrunchie would have been wasted on me.
Next week we are all going to be scooting to school as our green school committee are encouraging us all to get to school in the healthiest way possible even if it means parking the car a little further away than normal.
