From the Principal’s Desk….

Congratulations to Francesca in Rang 5 who represented RMDS at the Leinster Minor Schools Swimming Championship last week in the National Aquatic Centre, Francesca won silver medal in the U12s 50m butterfly in 35.94 seconds in a field of seventy swimmers. She also beat her personal bests in the 50m freestyle and the 100m individual medley. We wish her continued success in her swimming pursuits.

Clothes Recycling event!  

In conjunction with Green Schools, the PA is running a clothes recycling event in yard on Friday, January 26th.  

We need good quality, clean adult and child clothes.  

Clothes can be brought to school on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th and will be in yard on Friday.

Collection will be done for charity.

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Festive Charity Collection prior to the winter break. The total raised was an amazing €2310. These funds are split between the two charities we have chosen to support which are Saint Vincent de Paul and UNICEF.  Thank you for your support!

Please bring CLEAN clothes, in reasonable condition, for all ages, including adults, to the school on Wednesday 24th and Thursday the 25th of January 

Clothes should be left on the bench beside the Sensory Room please.
