What a great first term in Naíonáín Bheaga!

Everyone settled in so well and have made lots of new friends who we love playing with on the yard each day.

Some of Naíonáin Bheaga’s favourite things about school are yard time, Aistear and meeting buddies each week.

We have spent lots of time with our buddies a and they have really make us feel so welcome to RMDS. We have done lots of fun activities with them like making Christmas wreaths, playing with toys, going to the park, making jigsaws, art activities and lots more! Thank you buddies for being so kind to us.

We started our phonics programme and we are working really hard on each sound every week  and we can now read words!!. Maria is so proud of us.

We have loved creating and making some great art pieces this term like our rockets, the Gruffalos, winter trees, polar bears, Mr. Potato head  and making our elves.

In Aistear we had lots of fun in the Supermarket, Restaurant, Space and even in Santa’s workshop making and wrapping presents in time for Christmas.

We say goodbye to Michelle at the end of this term. It has been so great having Michelle is our class, helping us settle into school, playing with us, and minding us. Thank you Michelle for everything and we wish you the very best on your return trip to Germany.

We would also like to thanks Therese Coogan and Anne McCullagh for being so kind to us and helping us each day.

It certainly has been a busy term. Enjoy the well earned rest and we are looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
