Admission Policy

In light of the Minister for Education's announcement (15.01.2020) that sections of the Education (Admission to Schools) Act 2018 will come into effect on 1st February 2020.  We have updated our school's admission policy.  Applications made prior to this date will be dealt with in accordance with the previous policy.  If you have applied prior to 1st February 2020,  you do not need to reapply.

Enrolments for  2021/22 have been finalised.

There were 28 places available and 541 applications.

15 places were offered under Criterion 1 (siblings) 14 were accepted.

85 places were offered under Criterion 2 (children who have reached 4 years of age before the 31st December)  14 were accepted.


The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants  2022.  There will be 28 places.

A digital application will be available here when the window opens.

The school will commence accepting applications for admission on 1st October 2021.

The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on 29th October 2021.

The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is 19th November.

The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is 3rd December 2021.
