This term we have been practicing a lot of things. We’ve been practicing letters and numbers of course. But we’ve also been practicing Irish Dancing , cutting and sticking , speaking Irish and Unihoc !

Is aoibhinn linn bheith ag caint as Gaeilge ! We love practicing our Gaeilge ! “ Chuamar go dti an siopa i Rang 6! Bhi athas orann ann ! “

In January Ailbhe’s Dad Declan came into our class to show us how he plays the guitar . He played songs for us and also played the mandolin ! He told us how to look after musical instruments ! Ailbhe is very proud of her Dad !

We went on a trip to IMMA in Kilmainham to see an exhibition called Trove. We saw the skull of whales , an egg of an extinct Elephant Bird and also a very old cash register. We loved playing in the garden in the grounds and travelling together on the bus ! We had a lot of fun that day!

Thank you to Ronan, Kate’s Dad , and to Henrietta, Rosa’s Mum who came with us on the trip. Many thanks also to Mums Jane and Sarah who helped out with the art activities various Wednesdays again this term.

Before the holidays we are looking forward to a little egg hunt together with the whole class ! Let’s hope we find all the hidden eggs !
