• Rinneamar fograí agus pictiúir le haghaidh Seachtain na Gaeilge.Bhí céilí mór againn agus bhí a lán spóirt agus craic againn ag damhsa. Rinneamar cacaí don margadh císte. Rinneamar bosca cinnealtas agus bosca buíochas i Mindfulness agus bhaineamar taitneamh as an ceacht seo. I rith na seachtaine, d’fhoghlaim gach duine Trasna na dTonnta, Amhrán na bhFiann agus Ireland’s Call. D’imríomar cluiche bingo le rang 4 agus rinne Aimée, Lara, Lua, Sofia, Ava agus Tara an ‘Six Hand Reel’ ar an stáitse i rith an tionól sa halla.
• We had a visit from the fire bridge. We got an activity pack each to bring home – and we made an escape plan with our families, in case of an emergency! We got to have a look around a real fire engine too!
• In SESE we did a lot of work on the Solar system and we each picked a planet to do a report on. We loved learning about the planets. We also learned various information about people and places in Ireland and about different types of mountains around the world.
• We did the Write a book project and we each wrote our own books!
• We did the Stay Safe programme in SPHE.
• In art some of the things we made were papier maché planets and birds of peacefulness, which are hung up on the ceiling in our classroom.
• We are reading a class novel called Bill’s New Frock.
• Jack’s parents and James’ parents won a new set of books for our class library. We are very grateful and we’re delighted with them!
• We did hockey, circuits, basketball, ceilí dancing and soccer in PE class.
• In maths we have learned about chance, division, fractions, multiplication.
• We are beginning to write our own sentences in Irish!
• Most of us are now using joined handwriting.
• In Core Curriculum we have been learning about Christianity.
• We got rid of the baskets from our tables which made more space for us to do our work!
• We did trials for the Santry running competition.
